Card Mania Challenge - Weddings or Anniversary

Good morning to you all, my wonderful creative friends.

I hope you all had a good weekend.
I know lots of you have been busy putting up your Christmas decorations and I've seen some gorgeous photos of your trees.  Oh, I do love this time of year.

Well, it's the start of another busy week on my blog. I'm not complaining, I honestly love being part of such fabulous Design Teams. I just don't want you to get fed up with me and please don't feel that you have to comment on every card, unless you want to!

My first card this week is my DT card for The Card Mania Challenge
Our theme for the next 2 weeks is

Weddings or Anniversary

Our sponsor is the wonderful Sassy Studio Design
The prize is 4 digis of your choice

The Design Team were given some gorgeous images to use for this challenge.
I think my hubby thought I was a bit mad making a Wedding card when we don't know of anyone getting married. I tried to explain that it is for a challenge, but I don't think he knew what I was on about!!
Never mind, I have to say, I did enjoy making it even though I have no-one to give it to at the moment !

Enough waffling, here's my card

As you can see it is a criss-cross style card.
Here is a picture showing the tag

Hello again my wonderful crafty friends.
I'm so glad it's the weekend, even though we have nothing special planned I just love having all the family at home with me.

Today is a the start of a new A Gem of a Challenge
Our theme for the next two weeks chosen by the lovely Debbie is

I couldn't wait to make a card with this adorable penguin which comes in a set with 2 other cuties.
The gorgeous papers are also from Pink Gem Designs, they really print out so beautifully

One of the good things about used digi papers was that I could place the image directly onto the papers before I printed them which made it much easier to paper piece the presents and hat.

Digi Stamp ~ Pink Gem Designs Penguin set 2 paper pieced and coloured with Promarkers
Digi Papers ~  Pink Gem Designs Licorice Ice
Stickles ~ Stardust
Memory Box frosty border
Spellbinders circle and scalloped circles

DT card for Lili's Little Fairies - Anything Goes!!

Hello to you all, my wonderful crafty friends.
I'm back again as today is the start of a new challenge over at Lili's Little Fairies.
The theme this week is everyone's favourite

Anything  Goes

Our Sponsor this week are Lili of the Valley and they have kindly donated at £10 voucher to be spent on their fantastic website.

I felt like having a change from the cute or girly and decided on a more traditional style of Christmas card.
This gorgeous image is a lovely size and fun to colour.
I really must apologise for the terrible photo. I was quite disappointed, for some reason my red card looks like orange, I don't know why that is. This card really does look so much better in real life!
