Basket of Oranges - GDT card for Beccy's Place

Good morning my lovely blogging buddies. Thanks so much for being there and giving me so much encouragement - it means alot.

Right onto my next card as GDT for the wonderful Beccy's Place
I wanted to make a card for a relative who has just come out of hospital so I was delighted when I received the lastest image from Beccy's Place. The basket of oranges was great fun to colour and it made me realise that I hardly every use my orange promarkers!
So, as you can see I have gone for a bright and cheerful theme. I don't have a Get Well sentiment so I went for Best Wishes instead. I was going to add some punched flowers but I think it looked better without them as the backing paper is so colourful.

Items used:
Digi stamp - Beccy's Place Basket of Oranges coloured with Promarkers
Papers - Doodlebug designs ,I think - (they were loose pieces in my box)
Papermania Kraft card
Memory Box Lorelai Leaf
Personal Impressions mixed sentiments

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
I ♥ Promakers - circles
Fetch a Sketch - challenge 28
simon says stamp - let's get fruity!
Oozak Challenge - bright colours
Little Miss Muffet - circles
Joanna Sheen - going round in circles

Thanks so much for stopping by, I'm just off now to see what you have been up to.

bye for now
Hugs

Each of the DT members got to choose an image from the Digi Doodle shop - WOW there were so many to choose from. After much delibaration I went for Beach Babes as it reminded me of an old photo that my mum has of my brother and myself on holiday in Devon ( a few years ago now)

Papers -  Prima
Tim Holtz Distress Ink Peacock  Feathers (to ink edges of  scalloped card and flowers )

Just saying hello!

Good Morning Everyone

I hope you are well and staying safe with this terrible weather we are having at the moment. We had some sun for about half an hour, now it's raining again.

My card today is one that I made for a friend who moved away a while ago. I send her a card now and then just to say hello. I always try to use her favourite colours ( turquoise and pink ) but not too many embellishments as she isn't keen on fussy cards.
I decided to use the fab sketch from the current passion for promakers challenge.

Items used
Image - Wild Rose Studios Toby with roses coloured with Promarkers
Papers - MME fine and dandy
Papermania Kraft card
Nellie Snellen flower punches
Personal impressions sentiment stamps

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

My time to craft - raining cats and dogs
Card Makin Mamas -use a rubber stamp
Crafty ribbons - photo inspiration

Thanks so much for looking, I'm off now to see what you have all been up to today.

Beccy's Place GDT card - Petite Paris

Good Afternoon.

Sorry I'm a bit late with this, I had a doctors appointment this morning which ended up taking a lot longer than I had expected.

Anyway onto my next card as part of Beccy's Place Design Team.
The image is called Petite Paris and is absolutely amazing. It's so detailed and I think you really could fit it to any colour scheme. You do get a coloured image too but I was in a colouring mood so I decided to give it a go. I choose a piece of  pretty pink and grey bp and coloured the image to match that but once I'd finished it just didn't look right so I didn't use the paper after all and I decided to make it a stepper card instead.
I'm not sure that my card does Beccy's image justice . If you look on her blog you will see the coloured version, and Beccy and her talented designer Viv have made stunning cards with it.

Once again, I'm sorry this is so dark, we just haven't had much sun lately!

I have taken a close up so you can see the fabulous image in more detail

Items used
Digi-Stamp - Beccy's Place Petite Paris coloured with promarkers
Nellie snellen punches
Woodware small flower punch
Memory Box Madera corner
Martha Stewart medium butterfly
Lace and pearls from stash

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

Shopping our Stash - Triple Threat (used flowers, lace, punched elements)
Whimsy Stamps - anything goes
By the cute and Girly - A day at the ...shopping centre!

Thanks so much for taking the time to look, I really appreciate your support and encouragement.
Bye for now

Beccy's Place GDT card - Flower Wreath Set

Hello everyone,

I'm really sorry, I should have posted this yesterday but didn't have time in the end. It was just one of those days!

I have been asked by the lovely Beccy from Beccy's Place to be her Guest Designer for July. Well, of course I said yes, it was such an honour to be asked and her digi-stamps are gorgeous. She is constantly adding new designs to her store and has lots of fabulous free images on her blog too. There is also a monthly challenge on there.
I could hardly believe my luck when Beccy sent me the first set of images as floral cards are definitely my favourite.
This image actually comes in a set of eleven. You get a coloured version, plus ten black and white line drawings. The first line drawing is the basic image, but the other nine have sentiments in the centre. There is one for every occasion. This floral wreath is gorgeous and a joy to colour.

First of all I made a birthday card.
I printed the image twice so I could layer the flowers and added liquid pearls to the centre

I also used the Thank You sentiment to make some simple note cards

Items used
Beccy's Place - Flower Wreath Set coloured with promarkers
Papermania burleigh blue papers
Martha Stewart punch around the page set
Embossing folder - Couture creations Intrinsic
Pearls from stash
spellbinders scalloped circles
Xcut corner punch

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Sweet Stamping - scallops
Mishelflos monthly challenge - blooming birthday wishes
Stampalot challenge - what's your crafty passion ( floral cards, layering and punching)
Crafty Bloggers Network - anything goes

I hope you all have a good day, just going to catch up with all of your lovely creations now
